 Make sure to choose a pet that is the right fit for you and your family.- Make sure your pet is getting the correct amount of love and attention.
- Exercise your pet! Energetic dogs especially need a lot of room to run around and an owner that has time to walk them.
- If you don't plan on breeding your pet, make sure to spay or neuter them.
- If you plan on purchasing a dog as your pet, please remember dogs are social animals and strive to be a part of the family. Don't buy a dog if you plan on keeping him in the garage or backyard.

 Make sure you bring your pet to the vet for regular visits and that all of their shots are up-to-date.
- Train and socialize your pet!
- Make sure your dog or cat always has on an identification tag.
- Feed your pet a proper, healthy diet.
- Most importantly, love your pet and always treat them as a part of your family. You are their everything!
